As of September 2009 =ImaginaryRosse joined the project and will be helping us out with the weekly choices. While things have changed over time, the essence of the newsletter is still the same. The low saturation and contrast of this shot combined with the gross color of wall behind the cute face is really giving me a throw back to mid-nineties gen-x stuff but with more flair and less crapiness. The obvious powerful flash gives this the "its a snapshot but thats my deal and i'm a better artist than you" feel to it - if you can feel me on that.
I would rock this shot on a poster (maybe without the profanity - but if thats your name then its cool I guess) for an Uber-hip event (even though "uber" became uncool 8 years ago) or even for a website selling wicked shirts or prints.
Good work. Love it.
